Wrap-up
Intelligence, Not Speed
Key question: What will you stop doing, and what will you start doing, in your next paper?
The whole module in five sentences
- Integrity is a design decision, not a disclaimer you add at the end.
- AI is strongest where it reasons about material you supply, and weakest where it must remember facts.
- Ask for critique, structure and alternatives — not for content and citations.
- Write first. Let AI make your thinking visible, not replace it.
- Verify everything you sign your name to, because the accountability is only ever yours.
A paper written with AI in ten hours and no thinking is worth less than a paper written with AI in ten hours of thinking. Use the time AI gives you to raise the quality — not to lower the effort.
